About

Sandy AquilaOmaha Healing Arts Center (Om Center) is a dynamic space for education, holistic, performing arts and community.  Experience and learn about acupuncture, aromatherapy, massage, reiki, craniosacral therapy, bodywork, shiatsu, yoga, color therapy, humor therapy, meditation, astrology, herbal therapy, alternative medicine, ayurveda and counseling through our workshops, seminars and holistic clinic.  Enjoy world-class performing arts events through our music concerts, dance and theater performances, poetry slams and much more.  With the growing interest in holistic health care, there is an overwhelming desire from the public to learn more, as well as from educators to teach more.  Omaha Healing Arts Center features presenters from both Omaha and surrounding areas, as well as internationally recognized visionaries.

As you enter our front door, you’ll see a unique, 7 foot long museum-quality Tibetan sand painting under glass.  In fact, it’s the only tea bar counter in the world built with a Tibetan sand painting inside.  Elements of India, Morocco, Tibet, Japan, and even my favorite Uncle John’s antiques blend to create teh sense and surroundings of another time and place.

Visit our Holistic Clinic and meditation area on the lower level, where you’ll be welcomed by the soothing sounds of the gypsum stone waterfall. A calming retreat from the outside world.

Our large seminar space (1500 sq. ft.), including a full kitchen, features a 50 x20 foot natural skylight in a vaulted ceiling, rustic cherry wood plank floors and built-in professional lighting and sound systems.  A smoke-free environment, it accommodates 200 people and is available for any of your special occasions: workshops, classes, art, music, dance, sacred ceremonies, dinners, community gatherings, and more.

Thank you for visiting our web site. We’d love to meet you in person. Please drop by, have a cup of tea, relax and experience the OM Center for yourself.  I know you’ll enjoy your time here.

See you soon,

Sandy
