We have a couple of options here:
- The menu item in the top navigation can simply point at the existing schedule page.
- We can do an event page with a calendar and list, as we discussed
Ultimately, I think we would like to have everything in one place, so the second option is preferred. We can get the new site up and running by just doing the link to the existing schedule page for the time being, and then add the new event page later.
This is Spider Calendar, and right now, HOO-BOY IS THIS UGLY!
But ignore that for the moment, and just check out the functionality. We can choose any view (Month, List, Week, Day) to display, and allow any other views to be available to users by turning the tabs above the calendar on and off.
Plus, we can insert multiple views into the same page!
On this page, I have the monthly view with all the view options turned on, followed by the list view with all the view options turned off.
The calendar views themselves are themable, meaning that we can change how they look.
